The big Spring planting season will be here VERY soon! It’s time to think about the soil amendments and supplies that you might need for your Spring crops or even to prepare your soil for the Fall. Some amendments like lime are best applied months ahead of planting. And cover crops like rye and peas can control erosion, build the soil, or suppress weeds. As always, we’ll have supplies available at our Spring Plant Sale in March, and in smaller packages. And you can order from an extensive selection at Seven Springs Farm Supply. But shipping is so expensive! So, we work with Seven Springs to combine our orders with other farmers and gardeners, and everyone saves.
We will be making our first cooperative order of the year with Seven Springs at the end of this month. This is a great opportunity to get the supplies that you need and save on shipping! The deadline for orders is Tuesday, January 28th, and you can pick up your order at our farm on Friday, February 7th. Not ready to stock for Spring yet? No problem, we’ll coordinate another order in the middle of March.
